Paying Tribute to Lee Kuan Yew
Lee Kuan Yew passed away on Monday 23rd March, so I paid tribute to the late founding father of Singapore by going to the community centers at Tanjong Pagar and Botanical Gardens on Thursday 26th March. I took some photos at the community centers and I signed my condolences on the books placed at the community centers in Tanjong Pagar and Botanical Gardens. After that, I prayed for Lee Kuan Yew at the memorial for his soul to rest in peace. I saw many people paying tribute to Lee Kuan Yew. They were signing their names on the condolence books, placing flowers near his picture, taking photos and praying for his soul to rest in peace. I took a short walk in the Botanical Gardens towards the botany center. The Botanical Gardens is a wonderful place to walk around and explore the nature's beauty. There was a special hybrid orchid standing next to the photograph of Mr Lee. I took a photograph with the orchid. The orchid was created to honour Mr Lee. On Sunday 29th March, I went to see the final farewell of Lee Kuan Yew. It was raining heavily and people were standing on the sides of the roads to watch the cortege of Lee Kuan Yew despite heavy rain. As soon as the cortege arrived, I took a photo of it.
